It’s the first time my family and I tried soup curry and we’re glad we tried them here. We ordered chicken, beef and sukiyaki(no photo). The sukiyaki one is the best among the three. I even ordered additional kakuni topping for my beef curry. But I realized it was not necessary. The bowl has a generous serving of meat and veggies already. I really like the veggies. They were pre-grilled and have that smoky flavor. They were still crunchy when they were served to us. I wish the rice serving was a bit bigger though.

The restaurant is quite hard to find as it is located in the basement of a building. However, the queue remains long, and we had to wait for almost two hours to get in. The taste of the food is very unique and unlike anything we have encountered at other Japanese restaurants. The curry is made with a variety of spices, resembling Southeast Asian cuisine, making it a perfect dish to enjoy in Sapporo during winter. The curry broth is creamy due to the addition of coconut milk and has adjustable spice levels ranging from 0 to 6. The guinea chicken is incredibly tender and juicy, pairing perfectly with the broth, warm white rice, and fried vegetables (broccoli and lotus root).

Visited twice in this trip. Hidden in B1 of some random building but it’s so good. Love especially the favor of roast veggies and the layers of curry. Absolutely amazing

Very good soup curry, good level of spice, friendly staff. I came during the week for lunch, there was no wait, the place was not busy at all. I speak very little Japanese but was seated promptly at the counter and was able to order no problem. Got the chicken soup curry level 4 spice. Food came out within minutes and it was delicious. Highly recommended if you love soup curry!

Cozy, very clean and tasty food! It is a great meal for the cold weather. The “A little bit” spicy is just right. The chicken meat was very tender. It was a great experience!

(Tourists from Hong Kong in March) We found hirihiri from google map as they have 4.2 marks ! And they really worth over 4! The shop located in an underground mall. It was Saturday evening just after seven, surprisingly we were the only customers there. That was our first time trying soup curry. The taste was so so so good. So impressive. I can clearly remember the taste. Unlike Indian or other Asian curry, the soup seems like with a fruit base. We chose not spicy. It has a very rich flavor. The soup seems not much oil you could almost drink them all. The chicken leg and pork were so well cooked! Vegetables have been grilled (or slightly fried). The curry soup definitely made us want to eat more and more! We have tried another soup curry shop afterwards, not as good as this shop! Highly recommend!
